Background

  • Dominik König recently completed his studies in the field of information security at the Horst Görtz Institute (Ruhr University Bochum, DE), one of the largest and oldest competence centers for IT security in Europe. As a result of this training, he has in-depth knowledge of both theoretical aspects of cryptography and practical applications of cyber security.
  • His thesis deals with the analysis of practically relevant cryptographic protocols and the design of special digital signatures, which enable more efficient use in the area of blockchain-based applications.
  • During his studies, Dominik worked in an internationally operating company that develops and distributes comprehensive security solutions in the automotive sector. His activities included expanding the infrastructure, evaluating and automating the processes for releasing security-critical software and advising on technical issues.
